Ralph J. DYE Jr. [Parents] "Junior" was born 3 Jan 1956 in Richlands, Tazewell Co., VA. He died 21 Oct 2006 in Lebanon, Russell Oc., VA and was buried in Casey Cemetery, Pine Creek, Russell Co., VA. Junior married Wilma Jean.
Mr. Junior Dye, age 50, of Honaker, Virginia passed away Saturday (October 21, 2006) in a Lebanon, Virginia hospital. Born January 3, 1956 in Richlands, Virginia he was a son of Rev. Ralph and Evelyn Wallace Dye of Drill, Virginia. A lifelong resident of the area, he was a disabled coal miner and construction worker. He was a United States Army veteran having been stationed in Germany.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ernest and Nunie Dye and his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Mamie Wallace.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife of twenty-nine years, Wilma Jean Dye of the home; one son, Duane Dye of the home; one daughter, Crystal Lynn Dye of Nixa, Missouri; one granddaughter, Jessi Jade Shadden of Nixa, Missouri; two brothers, Jimmy Dye of Lebanon, Virginia and Steve Dye of Ozark, Missouri; one sister, Mona Hunsucker of Cave Springs, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 PM Thursday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fairley Spencer officiating. Interment followed in the Casey Hollow Cemetery at Pine Creek, Virginia.
Relatives and friends served as pallbearers.

Bernard Jennings PLASTER [Parents] was born 30 Jan 1934 in Swords Creek, Russell Co., VA. He died 10 Jul 2003 in Akron, OH. Bernard married Margie.
Bernard J. Plaster, 69, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on July 10, 2003.
Born in Swords Creek, Va., he had lived most of his life in Akron, where he retired from Goodyear with 30 years of service and also from Flexsys. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, a proud graduate of the University of Akron, an avid gardener, and had a passion for aviation; especially planes from the World War II era.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 46 years, Margie; daughter, Susan (Ronald) Simpson of Stow; sons, David (Kathy) of Kent, Mark (Karen) of Gurnee, Ill., Bradley, John, and adopted son, Brian Hurtt; grand children, Toby and Sarah Simpson, Darcie, Jessica, Troy, Madison, Ethan, and Eleanor; sisters, Alberta Aslan of Florida, Ruth Carter of North Carolina, Evelyn Baker of Cal ifornia, and Annette Ferguson of Florida; brother, David of California; and other loving relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 14, 2003, at 11 a.m., at the Eckard-Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Deacon Dan Matusicky officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park, where military honors will be conducted by Firestone V.F.W. Post 3383. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, July 13, from 1 to 5 p.m. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the MICU staff at Akron General Medical Center for their compassionate and loving care.
