Carol Lee PLASTER [Parents] was born 22 Oct 1951 in Richlands, Tazewell Co., VA. She died 9 May 2009 in Johnson City, TN. Carol married Daniel FARLEY on 9 Apr 1970. The marriage ended in divorce.

Carol had made her home in the Knoxville, Tennessee area for the last five years of her life and was a former Nuclear Medicine Technologist for the Thompson Cancer Survivor Center in Knoxville, TN. She was a former employee of the Clinch Valley Medical Center and the Mattie Williams Hospital. She was a Richlands High School Class of 1970 graduate, a graduate of SVCC, and received her degree in Nuclear Medicine from the University of Virginia in August of 1994. She was a member of Clearview United Methodist Church and was a member of the Richlands Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #104.

Donald Larry FLETCHER [Parents] "Donnie" was born 26 Feb 1947 in Buchanan Co., VA. He died 20 Apr 2005 in Kingsport, Sullivan Co., TN. Donnie married Patricia RAMEY.

Anna Lee FLETCHER [Parents] was born 1938 in Buchanan Co., VA. She died 24 Dec 2010 in Abingdon, Washington Co., VA and was buried in Mountain Valley Memorial Cemetery, Big Rock, Buchanan Co., VA. Anna married Virgle VANDYKE.

ANNALEE FLETCHER VANDYKE, 72 years of age of the Dryfork section of Vansant, Virginia, passed away Friday, December 24, 2010 at the Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon, Virginia. Born in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Eunice Deel Fletcher.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, homemaker and attended the Primitive Baptist Church.

Mrs. Vandyke is survived by her husband Virgle Vandyke of Vansant, Virginia. Also survived by: Daughters:        Lisa Vandyke, Murfreeesboro, TN, Shelia Vandyke, Abingdon, VA, Kim Vandyke Offield and husband Mike, Abingdon, VA, Leslie Vandyke Brown and husband Dewey, Snow Camp, NC; Sister: Karen Fletcher McClanahan and husband Greg, Grundy, VA; Brother: Chester Fletcher, Cody, Wyoming; 7-Grandchildren:  2d  Lt. Jason Vandyke of the USAF, Pensacola, FL, Jessica Vandyke, Jeremy Vandyke, Michael Vandyke, Keisha Solis and husband Carlos, Dana Scruggs, and Jessi Offield; 2-Great-Grandchildren:  Melisa Solis, and Savannah Brown;        2-Sisters-in-Law:  Olagay Fletcher and Patricia Fletcher.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 2-Brothers:  P. J. Fletcher and Donnie Fletcher.              
Funeral services for ANNALEE FLETCHER VANDYKE, will be conducted Monday, December 27, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Elders Jeff Dotson, Shawn Dotson, Ezra Davis, Jr. and Willard Owens officiating with burial to follow in the Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, Virginia.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel after 6:00 P.M. Sunday with services at 7:00 P.M.

Active pallbearers will be Mike Offield, Dewey Brown, III,  Jason Vandyke, Michael Vandyke, Jeremy Vandyke, Carlos Solis, Leon Vandyke, and Larry McClanahan.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Don Clappse, Bill Ratliff, Greg McClanahan, Ken Fletcher, Harold Cline, Auburn Ratliff, and Don Hagy.

Charlie Albert PLASTER [Parents] was born 4 Dec 1912 in Virginia. He died Oct 1986. Charlie married Rosa Edward BALES on 1 Nov 1933.

Rosa Edward BALES [Parents] was born 2 Mar 1909 in Virginia. She died 20 Apr 2005 in Richlands, Tazewell Co., VA and was buried in Greenhills Memory Gardens, Clapyool Hill, Tazewell Co., VA. Rosa married Charlie Albert PLASTER on 1 Nov 1933.

SWORDS CREEK, Va. Mrs. Rosa Edward Plaster, age 96, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2005, in a Richlands hospital.
Born March 2, 1909, in Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Balford and Cynthia Plaster Bales. A lifelong resident of the area, she was a member of the Pine Creek Holiness Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Plaster; one son, Arillis Plaster; one infant son; one son-in-law, Paul Newberry; one granddaughter, Angela Rose Newberry; one brother, Clarence Murphy; and one sister, Birdie Damron. In her generation, she was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Dye and her husband Teddy and Wilma Keen and her husband Robert, all of Swords Creek; daughter-in-law, Frances Plaster; six grandchildren, Wayne Plaster, Connie Richardson, Rita Pruitt, Charlie Keen, Gerald Newberry and Brian Keen; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one niece; one nephew; and a host of friends also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jimmy Richardson and Rev. Daniel Richardson officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Va.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Plaster, Charlie Keen, Brian Keen, Gerald Newberry, David Richardson and Darrell Pruitt.
Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Elkins and Gerald Francis.
Friends may call at the Honaker Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Friday, where an evening song service will be conducted at 7 p.m.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the 4th floor nursing staff at Clinch Valley Medical Center, Dr. T. Patel, Tammy Wright, Pat Rife and Joann Mounts.
