James Stoddard died in Lisle Mar. 3, 1837 age 90 years. Judge Stoddard was b. in Lithcfield, Conn., a Capt. in the Rev. War, moved to Broome County 1794, a much respected citizen, filled many important offices among those as 1st. Judge of the Court of Common Pleas and a member of the Assembly.
