A number of photos have been taken of the Odom-Crawford Log Cabin built by Randol Odom when the Odom family migrated to Texas from Mississippi. The cabin is in disrepair and some say it will not last much longer without a restoration activity. The cabin was built near Maydelle, Texas in 1847 by Randol Odom. He lived in it until the Civil War ended. He sold the home to his son, Richmond, who lived in the cabin for a number of years until he sold it to the Crawford family.
