| We believe Hala Mosley was the infant daughter of Luther W. Mosley and Ida M. Hobart. In the Federal Census of 1910, base date April 15, 1910, Luther and Ida were counted in Fountain Green Township in the household immediately following Ida's parents, Pardon and Florence Hobart. At that time Ida was shown as the mother of no children. A news item published in The Quill on December 13, 1910, reported the death of a daughter of Luther Mosley.
Little Hala's inscription appears on a tombstone that also bears the inscription of her uncle, Frank Hobart, Ida's brother. |
