![]() , born in 1839, married Lydia Jane Dunham on November 29, 1866, in Hancock County, Illinois. They established their home in Fountain Green Township and became the parents of fifteen children. In the 1900 Federal Census, A. J. was not listed with his family; he may have been counted in the Fountain Green Township household of "Oston and Eva Hamel", but the entry bears no given name and the details are off enough that positive identification is not possible. A. J. died at Carthage on October 29, 1904, and was buried at Webster Cemetery in Fountain Green Township. Lydia J. Dunham was born August 21, 1849, in Hancock County, Illinois, the daughter of A.
