![]() Alvis Warren Way was not yet twenty when he died. Two separate sources (Doris' history and the research papers of C. Granville Way) offer differing ages at the time of his death, but both agree it was before he turned twenty. He had been working for a man who was known to have a violent temper and Alvis Warren was found dead, the top of his skull crushed, in the man's barn. The man said a horse had kicked Warren and no further investigation ensued, although people were apparently skeptical of the explanation. |
