WILHELMINA "MINNIE" K. FISHER (nee SIMMONS)

 

Minnie Simmons was born about 1885 in Hancock County, Illinois, the daughter of Ninian Simmons and Wilhelmina Seelinger.  Her middle name was probably Katherine.  She died after November 17, 1954.

She married Homer Bruce Fisher about 1905.  He was born October 22, 1883, the son of Henry and Sarah Fisher.  Homer and Minnie divorced between 1920 and 1930.  He subsequently remarried, died October 19, 1932, in Galesburg, Knox County, Illinois.
 
They were the parents of the parents of:

i. Harry B. Fisher, born about 1909 in Mississippi.  In June of 1952 he was said to be a resident of Carthage, Hancock County.  
 
ii. Wilhelmina Katherine Fisher, born about 1915 in Illinois.  In June of 1952, she was named Mrs. Katherine Fisher Birge of Tampa, Florida.  She died after November 17, 1954.
