| Florence M. Simmons, daughter of Florence taught school before marrying; in 1891 she was hired to teach at Webster. Over the summer of 1892 she was furthering her own education by attending school in Normal, Illinois. She married Charles Irving Campbell on April 5, 1896, at LaHarpe. C. Irving Campbell was born January 14, 1861, in LaHarpe, died May 17, 1950, in Blandinsville, McDonough County, Illinois. He was the son of James M. Campbell (1834-1918) from Pennsylvania, and Mary Stearns (1838-1894) from Vermont. Both Florence and Irving were buried at Glade City Cemetery, Blandinsville. Florence and Irving were the parents of:
