Ida Maine Cameron was born March 23, 1868, in Hancock Township, Hancock County, Illinois, the youngest child of Ida was first married on October 26, 1887, to Samuel K. Gross; they divorced in 1892. She married, second, Marion C. Woodside on July 19, 1893, at Morland, Kansas. Marion was born in Illinois about 1857. He was the son of James A. Woodside of Virginia and Nancy M. Campbell. (James Woodside later married Nancy's sister, Hannah.) The children of Ida Cameron and Marion Woodside were:
