Ida Maine Cameron was born March 23, 1868, in Hancock Township, Hancock County, Illinois, the youngest child of Elizabeth Roberts and Elisha Cameron.  Before Ida had reached her teen years, the family left Hancock County, stayed for a time in Nodaway County, Missouri, and then went further west to Allodium Township, Graham County, Kansas.

Ida was first married on October 26, 1887, to Samuel K. Gross; they divorced in 1892.  She married, second, Marion C. Woodside on July 19, 1893, at Morland, Kansas.

Marion was born in Illinois about 1857.  He was the son of James A. Woodside of Virginia and Nancy M. Campbell.  (James Woodside later married Nancy's sister, Hannah.)

The children of Ida Cameron and Marion Woodside were:

i. Marion Clemens "Clemie" Woodside, born about 1894 in Kansas, died March 1964 in Kansas.
