| One of the most frustrating facets of tracing our families is that stack of wonderful old tintypes, cartes de visite, cabinet cards and snapshots, protected and saved but, alas, with nothing to identify the subjects. The unidentified individuals pictured in these images probably lived in Hancock or Mcdonough County, Illinois, were related to or were friends of people who lived in those counties. |
