![]() On Saturday morning she suffered a cerebral hemorrhage, never regaining consciousness. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Lee, and four children, John of Carthage, Mrs. Florence McClure of Tennessee, Mrs. Lela Booz of Tennessee, and George of Tennessee township, and nine grandchildren, which were a great comfort to her all through her sickness; also the following brothers and sisters: Allen Gordon, Mrs. Margaret Windsor, and Mrs. Mae Moon of Macomb, and Mrs. Lennie Fugate of Bushnell, besides a host of relatives and friend. Funeral services will be held at the Colchester Methodist church Wednesday at 2 o'clock with Rev. Keith Loveless officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Auburn cemetery. COLCHESTER, Ill. (Special)--Mrs. Mary Matilda McClure, died Tuesday at her home in Tennessee township. She had been in very poor health for the last five years but seriously ill only three days. On Saturday morning she suffered a cerebral hemorrhage, never regaining consciousness. She is survived by her husband, Lee, and four children, John of Carthage, Ill., Mrs. Florence McClure of Tennessee, Ill., Mrs. Lela Booz of Tennessee township, and George of Tennessee township; nine grandchildren, four brothers and sisters, Allen Gordon, Mrs. Mae Moon and Mrs. Margaret Windson [sic] of Macomb, Ill., and Mrs. Lennie Fugate of Bushnell. Funeral services were held at the Colchester Methodist church Wednesday at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Keith Loveless of Magnolia, Ill., officiating. Interment was in Mt. Auburn cemetery in this city. Tillie's parents were William Stewart Gordon and Anna E. Usher. She married Lee McClure at Macomb on November 18, 1897. Lee was the son of Rutherford McClure and Sarah White. Okle Campbell Browning |
