![]() Elizabeth Barbara Falder, pictured at right, was the daughter of On October 11, 1880, an affidavit was prepared by R. Lawrence, a Deputy Clerk of McDonough County, by which Bruce Anderson attested that he and Miss Lizzie Falder were both single and unmarried, that he was 23 and a resident of Tennessee Township, and that Lizzie was 20 years of age. McDonough County marriage license #831 was issued on the same day. They were married at Tennessee Township on October 13, 1880, by Theodore L Henry, Minister of the M. E. Church. Bruce and Lizzie farmed for the next 50 years. They were counted in Colchester Township, McDonough County, in Federal Censuses from 1900 through 1930. Bruce died February 17, 1931, five days after his birthday, in Colchester Township. Lizzie died barely two months later and two days after her birthday, on April 22, 1931, in the town of Colchester. They are buried at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Colchester. The Anderson children were:
