W. E. Way passed away Saturday Aug. 9, 1902, at the home of Fred Salisbury.  Death occured from a kick of a horse.  He was born in 1856 and married to Nancy Dillard in 1884.  Five children were born to them, four sons, and one daughter, the wife and one son have preceded him to the great beyond.  Funeral was held at Majorville Sunday, Aug. 10, at 2 o'clock conducted by Rev. Geo. Miller, pastor at that place.  Deceased was a member of the M. W. A. of Ft. Green camp, who were present in a body and took charge of the remains, marching to the grave one mile east from here where head counsel, J. W. McConnell read the sad burial rites of their lodge in an impressive manner.  After the salute in honor of the dead and also for the lonely orphans was given, Rev. Miller pronounced the benediction.
