On March 26, 1885, Minnie married Robert Perry Wise.  The nuptials were performed by Smith H. Hyde at Carthage.  Marriage Documents

Robert, born about 1861 in Clay County, Illinois, was the son of Abraham Wise and Mary J. Dugan, both originally from Ohio.  The Wise family lived in the following locations before coming to Hancock County: Oxford Township, Tuscarawas County, Ohio; Owen County, Indiana; Decker Township, Richland County, Illinois; Clay County, Illinois.

Robert left Illinois after Minnie died.  On April 16, 1897, Robert (of Phillips County, Kansas) married the former Martha E. Martin (of Browning, Linn County, Missouri), who was the widow of Robert's older brother, William.  The marriage was performed at Linneus, Linn County, Missouri.  Marriage Register

In 1900 Robert and Martha were living in Walnut Township, Phillips County, Kansas, where they remained for some years.  Also in Walnut Township in 1900 was Clement Day, Minnie's uncle. Seth Day, Clement's son and Minnie's first cousin, was farming in adjacent Granite Township.

Robert died before April 1, 1930.  Martha died after February 12, 1942.  As of that date, she was reportedly living in Purdin, Benton Township, Linn County, Missouri.

The daughter of Minnie Day and Robert Wise was:

i.	Velva May Wise, born January 14, 1887, near Fountain Green, Hancock County, Illinois.  She died February 12, 1942, at Byers, Colorado.

Robert Dewey Wise, born January 18, 1899, in Phillips County, Kansas, died February 2, 1977, and was buried at Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg, Phillips County, Kansas.  Find A Grave Robert married Agnes Marie Knox on June 12, 1917.  She was born April 22, 1902, in Missouri, died September 6, 1964.  Interment at Fairview Cemetery.  Find A Grave Robert and Agnes Marie were farming and raising their family in Walnut Township, Phillips County, in 1920 and 1930.
