HANCOCK  COUNTY,  ILLINOIS
FAMILIES         NEWS         MEMORABILIA

FORREST LEON BIVENS 1882-19__
HARRIET ESTHER BULLOCK 1886-1953

A scanned image of the original obituary, unknown news source, from the collection of Okle Campbell Browning.

This obituary (from an unknown original news source) states that Harriet was born near Blandinsville, which implies a McDonough birth location.  The Bullocks lived in Hancock County until about 1904, according to Harriet's father's obituary.  We have noticed a tendency for McDonough County newspapers to use McDonough County locations as a reference to points in Hancock County.  Unless Harriet's mother happened to be away from home when Harriet was born, it's most likely that Harriet was born at the family home in Hancock County.
