![]() While the obituary stated that Mrs. Alday was born in 1867, both the 1900 and 1910 Federal Censuses indicate she was born in 1857, and the 1900 census specifically reported August 1857. Her death, at age 55, was reported in The LaHarper published on June 27, 1913. John Alday died February 5, 1935, at Ferris, Hancock County. The Alday daughters were:
