Arthur B. Grimes was born November 11, 1877.  Census records indicate he was born in Missouri.  He died March 10, 1948, in Tennessee village, McDonough County, Illinois.

Hugh William Grimes was born March 19, 1907, perhaps in Emmet Township, McDonough County.  In 1930 he married Edna Clark, daughter of Orval Clark and Myrtle Pointer.  Edna was born in McDonough County in 1907.

Hugh died in January of 1989; last address on Social Security records: Boise City, Cimarron County, Oklahoma.
