Delphine & Alfred's Children In the 1900 census, it was reported that Delphine (named therein as Belle) was the mother of eight children, only three of whom were living. We can document seven of the eight children from census records: five by Albert and two by second husband, William Higgins. Children known to be alive in 1900 were Albertine Bertha Obenchain East and Maie Obenchain. We have found later listings for a Charles Obenchain and a Charles E. Obenchain, but cannot confirm that those listings were for this Obenchain son.
