Rev. Joel Danner

The Rev. Joel Danner, 72, of Fayetteville, died monday night in Lincoln Regional Hospital after a brief illness.

A service was conductedd by the Rev. William Shouse on Wednesday at Higgins Funeral Home.  Burial was in Stewarts Cemetery.

A native of Boyd, Ala., he was the son of Eula Boyd Danner.  He was a retired Presbyterian minister following 50 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lucille Graham Danner; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Hess of Memphis and Mrs. Carol Peoples of Adamsville, Ala.; a son, the Rev. Charles Danner of Parks City; a sister, Mrs. Mary Rawson, of Meridian, Miss.; a brother, Hinton Danner, also of Meridian; eight grand children and one great-grandchild.
