New Orleans, LA
The marriage of Miss Hallie Meyer, of Meridian, Miss., and Mr. Karl Meyer, of Louisville, Ky., took place last week in Meridian, and was one of the brilliant and elaborate events held there recently. Miss Meyer has many friends in New Orleans, where she has frequently visited, and her family also have relatives residing in many of the Southern cities. The wedding was of special interest as the guests included a long list of people socially prominent. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Sarah Winner Meyer, and a niece of Mrs. Meyer Eiseman, of New Orleans. The ceremony took place at Temple Beth Israel. Dr. A. Brill, officiated. There was a large wedding party from Meridian and elsewhere. A reception and dance followed the ceremony at the Standard Club. Mr. and Mrs. Meyer went East to spend their honeymoon before going to Louisville, Ky., to reside.
