Allen McCants (Nov. 13, 1897) - Alabama
6, Tuscaloosa Athletic Club 0 (Tuscaloosa)
Allen McCants won his only game as head coach at Alabama, leading the Crimson
Tide to 6-0 win over the Tuscaloosa Athletic Club. The UA Board of Trustees
would not allow the football or baseball teams to play off campus, so the
football team chose to play only one game and did not field a team in 1898. No
details of the game were available.
