turn out to help charity

……On Friday, Karli Ching,
10, of Diamond, won a Orange County Chopper Schwinn Stingray bicycle, donated to the C4C
[Choppers For Children] event last year by Sick Pigs Motorcycle Company in
“I entered the essay contest by writing on the subject ‘I believe in miracles
because...,' ” Ching said.
The following essay was the winner: “I believe in miracles because God and Jesus can
do them. Some people don't believe in miracles, but I do. If you can't see God in the
small miracles, then you won't see him in the huge ones. That's why I believe in miracles.”
“I am pretty excited about winning the bike,” said Ching. “I'll go home and
ride it!”
Who knows, she might even let her younger brother, David Ching II, 9, take it out for a
spin.
