Heaven on Earth

When you wake in the morning – that’s Heaven

When you sit on your patio, watching

The birds, the flowers, the sun rise

And the big tall trees and you feel

The sweet summer breeze – that’s Heaven

When you stroll in the woods

And you cross clear running streams

When you fall asleep at night

And you have wonderful dreams – that’s Heaven

When you shake a stranger’s hand

And you make them smile

It’s a wonder what you can do

Just by walking that little extra mile – that’s Heaven

When the stars in the sky

Turn day into night

When the moon shines big and bright just

Like a big heavenly light – that’s Heaven

To wipe the tears from your child’s eyes

As you try your best to ease their pain

Just to see them look up at you and

For you to see that smile again – that’s Heaven

Although there not peace all over the land

Folks, we all had better wake up

And take God’s hand – follow his path

And his guiding light, you might just

Make Heaven before tonight
