Census Roll 93, 1820, Notingham Township, Harrison County, Ohio, page 73, line 3:This Ephraim Harrison would be about the right age to be the brother of Bazel and Joseph Harrison, but requires more research. The same can be said for the Ephraim Harrison also appeared in the 1810 Federal Census of Brooke County, West Virginia."Ephraim Harrison headed a household consisting of one male under 10; two males 10 to 16; one male 45 and over; three females under 10, one female 10 to 16; one female 16 to 26; and one female 45 and over."
Moses Harrison, was
born before 1770 and died after 1841. He lived in Washington County,
Pennsylvania, and Smith Township, Belmont County Ohio. He married
Unknown. His relationship to Bazel and Joseph Harrison is currently
unknown.
The children of Moses Harrison and Unknown:
1. Thirza Harrison,born in 1798 in Virginia or Pennsylvania and died after 1862. She married William Dawson on 12 December 1822 in Belmont County, Ohio. William was born on 2 April 1793 in Virginia, and died in 1862 in Belmont County, Ohio. Their children were:
1. Anne Dawson, born in 1825 in Smith Township, Belmont County, Ohio, and died after 1862. She married William George Cary on 20 November 1853 in Belmont County, Ohio.2. Mary Dawson, born in 1825 in Belmont County, Ohio, and died on 24 June 1889 in Monroe County, Ohio. She married Robert Alexander Sprague on 14 July 1844 in Belmont County, Ohio. He was born on 16 June 1821 in Belmont County, Ohio, and died on 20 October 1871 in Monroe County, Ohio.
3. Moses Dawson born about August 1828 in Smith Township, Belmont County, Ohio, and died after 1887. He married Sarah Garrison on 18 July 1846 in Belmont County, Ohio. Sarah was born in 1828 in Ohio. Moses and Sarah had a son:
1. Kinsey Dawson.4. William Dawson, born in 1830.5. Thirza Dawson, born 5 May 1830 in Smith Township, Belmont County, Ohio, and died on 1 June 1917 in Lawrence Township, Washington County, Ohio. She married George McCain on 14 April 1864 in Belmont County, Ohio. He was born on 25 June 1824 in Pennsylvania, and died on 19 November 1904 in Lawrence Township, Washington County, Ohio.
6. Susanna Dawson, born on 8 March 1833 in Jacobsburg, Smith Township, Belmont County, Ohio, and died on 22 December 1923 in Gracey, Washington County, Ohio. She married William H. Hammegar on 4 November 1866 in Newport Township, Washington County, Ohio. He was born on 7 October 1836 in Washington County, Pennsylvania, and died on 20 June 1898 in Marietta, Washington County, Ohio.
7. Unknown Dawson, born about 1837 in Belmont County, Ohio.
8. Solomon Dawson, born in 1837 in Belmont County, Ohio, and died after 1862. He married Lydia Solomon on 23 December 1855 in Belmont County, Ohio. She was born in 1840 in Pennsylvania, and died on 14 March 1888 in Belmont County, Ohio.
9. Rachel Amanda Dawson, born in 1841 in Smith Township, Washington County, Ohio. She married Robert Reynolds on 3 March 1863 in Washington County, Ohio.
2. Reuben Harrison, married Cassandra Davis in December 1823 in Smith Township, Belmont County, Ohio (not a proven son of Moses Harrison).3.
