He may have also fathered a daughter, there is an Amelia Bottenberg, date of birth listed as 10 September 1860, in Pennsylvania's Soldiers' - Orphan Schools, page 374 date of admission 1 September 1868 in Altoona, Blair County, Pennsylvania.

I have not been able to locate Elizabeth and George in 1870. Their sons Ard and David were both born there, David listed his birth in 1900 as February 1869 in Pennsylvania.

Carmany, 1852-1872, in Antis Cemetery, however, the image is very poor and the stone was very worn. They were not married before 1870, she was listed in the household of her brother-in-law and sister, Price and Mary J. Johnson in Altoona, 1st Ward, Blair County, Pennsylvania at age 17 in the 1870 census on the 13th of June (see above).
