5.1.9.1 Perry G. Burkholder, was born in about 1839 in Pennsylvania (biography, his marker in Antis Cemetery reads 1842). I did not locate Perry in the 1870 census. Perry and his second wife, Dora were listed in the 1880 Federal Census of Antis Township, Blair County, Pennsylvania, ED# 160, page 233B (date not recorded). Perry was age 41, occupation listed as a farmer. Dora was 35, their children in 1880 were: Margaret, age 10; William, age 8; Walter, age 6 and Bishop, age 4 (Harry Burkholder, age 11 was also listed in the 1880 household, relationship not recorded, possibly his son from his first marriage to "Eliza Mulholland", however, his biography stated that his two sons from his first marriage were George and Frank, birthdates unknown, also worth mentioning is the household above Perry, that of the Hugh and Mary Mulhollen family, relationship also unknown).
In the 1900 Federal Census of Antis Township, Blair County, ED# 68, sheet 4A, recorded on the 5th of June, their household listed (Perry and Dora both stated that they had been married for 32 years; Dora stated that she had given birth to 5 children, 4 of whom were still living; all birthplaces were listed as Pennsylvania):

She had married and was recorded living in Bellwood Borough, Blair County, ED# 84, sheet 3A, address 309 Clark St., recorded on the 4th of April (all birthplaces were recorded as Pennsylvania--with the exception of of the birthplace of Harold's father, he stated that his father was born in New Jersey):

5.1.9.1.5 Maud Burkholder, was born in about June 1881 and died 2 november 1882. She is buried in Antis Cemetery, near Pinecroft, blair County, Pennslyvania.
5.1.9.2 Margaret J. Burkholder, was born in about 1840 in Pennsylvania. Her brother, Thomas J. Burkholder's biography in 1892 refers to her as "Margaret J., wife of A.S. Marks [her brother Perry's biography the same year gives his name as Tony Mark]". In 1880, Margaret was living with her parents, her name was listed as Margaret Ware, widowed.
5.1.9.3 Mary E. Burkholder, was born in about 1842 in Pennsylvania. Her brother, Thomas J. Burkholder's biography in 1892 refers to her as "Mary E., who married Norval Hawk [her brother Perry's biography in 1892 gives his name as "Norval Hock", of Juniata". It was Thomas' biography that had it right, perhaps that was because they were next door neighbors in the 1880 census. In the 1870 Federal Census the Hawk family was enumerated in Altoona, 1st Ward, Blair County, on the 7th of June:

5.1.9.4 David M. Burkholder
was born in about 1843 in Pennsylvania.
His brother, Thomas J. Burkholder's biography in 1892 refers to him as "David M., who was born in 1844, stood six feet five and one-half inches in height, weighing two hundred and twenty pounds, and while serving in Captain Huff's company, was mortally wounded by a sharp shooter when in the act of cooking his breakfast, after the battle of Cold Harbor" [there is no mention of David in his brother Perry's biography in 1892]. I did locate David's marker on the family plot in Antis Cemetery, near Pinecroft, Blair County, Pennsylvania.
5.1.9.5 Julia A. Burkholder, was born in about 1845 in Pennsylvania. Her brother, Thomas J. Burkholder's biography in 1892 refers to her as "Julia A., who married H. A. Rossman, of Chambersburg [her brother Perry's biography in 1892 stated that she was "now dead"]". In the 1870 Federal Census of Chambersburg, South Ward, Post Office Chambersburg, enumerated on the 2nd of July, there is a close match for Julia Ann (Henry stated that his parents were both of foreign birth):
#76 92 Rossman, Henry a 23 m Sailor 125 PrussiaJulia A. Rossman died in 1876, she is also buried on the family plot in Antis Cemetery, near Pinecroft, Blair County, Pennsylvania.

Burkholder's biography in 1892 refers to him as "Henry C., a farm manager, near Houtzdale, this State, for the Clearfield Coal Company". Houtzdale is located in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania....
In the 1900 Federal Census of North Houtzdale Precinct of Woodward Township, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, ED# 101, sheet 3A, recorded on the 5th of June, his household listed (Henry and Mary both stated that they had been married for 26 years; the number of children that mary had given birth to was recorded after Henry's name--I can't imagine how he might have accomplished that feat, however he did state that they had given birth to 7 living children; all birthplaces were recorded as Pennsylvania):

Burkholder's biography in 1892 refers to her as "Lowanda, widow of Daniel Ainsworth, who died from cold contracted while attending the centennial at Philadelphia" [her brother Perry's biography in 1892 stated that her name was "Levanda, deceased"].
The obituary of Daniel Ainsworth (published online, from the Altoona Times dated 5 November 1903) stated that he was:
"...married to Miss Lavina Burkholder, who preceded him to the grave in October 1876."
Daniel Ainsworth is listed in the 1880 Federal
Census of Logan Township, Blair County, Pennsylvania. If Lavina or
Levanda did die in 1876 as his obituary stated, then two of the three children
listed in the 1880 household were her children. Those two children
