Although John and Permella Ake were living in Bedford County in the 1820 census, he did sell property in Huntingdon County after he relocated his household.  In Deed Book U-1, pages 31 and 32, John and "Permele" Ake of St. Clair Township, Bedford County, sold land to "Joseph Ake son of Jacob Ake", of Morris Township, Huntingdon County, date of deed 21 March 1825, date of record 11 April 1826:
