Ernest B. and Blanche Harrison were listed in the 1910 census of Berrett (Freedom District was written and then crossed out), Carroll County, Maryland, ED# 80, sheet 15A. They had added two children since the 1900 census: a son, Charles E., age 7 and a daughter, Goldie M., age 4 years. Ernest and Blanche both stated that they had been married for 20 years, Blanche stated that she had given birth to 7 living children. He continued to list his occupation as a farmer.
In 1920, they were again enumerated in Berrett, Carroll County, ED# 84, sheet 6B. Ernest was now 50 and Blanche listed her age as 45. Ernest listed his occupation as a farmer, they had three children listed in the 1920 household: Chas., age 19; Goldie, age 13 and a daughter, whose name is difficult to make out--I read it as "Lerue", age 11 (she must have been born just after the 1910 census was recorded or her age was an error). In the 1930 Federal Census of Berrett, ED# 30, sheet 2B, Ernest and Blanche were ages 60 and 55 respectively. The only child still at home was their daughter, whose name was much easier to read, La Rue, it was her age this time that didn't match, I read her age as 18 in 1920. I was able to find Blanche's obituary, dated 10 February 1954:
