Wesley and Eliza were still farming in the Ninth District of Carroll County, Maryland in 1880 (his mother and younger brother, Joseph were also listed on the same page).  I hope it was a big farm, because once again, the family got larger.  The children living in the 1880 household were: William A., age 21; Sarah, age 17; Grafton A.; age 15; Lurene M., age 12; Minnie F., age 10; Samuel C., age 8; Joshua E., age 6; Lillie F., age 3 and last but not least--the baby, Nettie V., age 8 months (whose birth month was annotated as "Sept").

There is a marriage recorded in Carroll County which matches the census data:

REUBEN H. HARRISON
Spouse:             GOSNELL, CHRISTIANNA
Marriage Date:    20 Dec 1864
County:              Carroll
State:                MD

By the 1880 Federal Census of ED# 53, Carroll County, Maryland, the family had grown in size, Reuben was still farming, and listed his age as 40, Christiana was 35 (all birthplaces were listed as Maryland).  The children listed in the 1880 household were: William H., age 13; Earnest B., age 11; Amos A., age 10; James O., age 8; Daisy P., age 2 years; and Helen V. Mills, age 11, occupation listed as a nurse.

In the 1900 Federal Census of Freedom District, Carroll County, Maryland, ED# 127, sheet 8A, he was a widower, and also fibbed about his birth year.  "Ruben", listed his age as 54, and listed his birth as November 1845.  He stated that he had fathered 7 children, 6 of whom were still living.  The children still listed in the 1900 household were: a daughter, Pearl D., born in August 1878; a son, Thomas A., born in August 1884; and a son, Edward S., born in June 1886.  His two sons, James O. and Ernest B. George was a widower in the 1900 Federal Census, there was a piece of tape which across the page--but I am fairly certain that it was him and his son Erbin.  They were recorded in Mount Airy, Carroll County, ED# 139, sheet 11B, both listed their occupations as day laborers.  George gave his marital status as divorced in and his occupation as a farmer in 1910.  His three known children were:

In the 1920 Federal Census, Emory and Hattie's household was adjacent to Ervin and Effie's household.  The household listed the following children: Fred, age 24, working as a railroad conductor; Allen, age 15; Roy, a nephew, age 9; and Violet, a niece, age 5 years.  Hattie died in 1950, they are both buried in Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery, in Frederick County, Maryland.

In 1910 the image is very faint, Joseph was age 56, occupation farm laborer, Cornelia was age 54.  They both stated that they had been married for 30 years and Corneila again stated that she had given birth to 9 children, 5 of whom were still living.  One daughter, Agnes, age 20 was still listed at home (12th Election District, Montgomery, Maryland, ED# 119, sheet 29B; indexed as "Joseph Harrisson").

The 1910 Federal Census for Jacob, age 32 and Cora Gue, age 28, is very difficult to make out, he was a farm laborer, they had two girls, Lucille age 4 and Myrtie age 11 months.  They were enumerated in Damascus Town, Montgomery, Maryland, ED# 119, sheet 23A.

In 1920 Cornelia was a widow, enumerated in ED 12, Damascus (part of), Montgomery County, Maryland, ED# 141, sheet 9B (all birthplaces were recorded as Maryland):
