Nimrod Harrison apparently died in about 1873. A deed in Carroll County dated 10 August 1875 listed the following as heirs of his estate:
"...William Harrison and Jane Harrison, his wife, John H. Harrison and Margaret A. Harrison, his wife, Wesley Harrison and Eliza Ann Harrison, his wife, Reuben H. Harrison and Christiana Harrison, his wife, George A. Harrison and Sarah Jane Harrison, his wife, Joseph Harrison, Mary Ann Harrison (widow of the late Nimrod Harrison, of Carroll County) and Mary E. Smith wife of John Thomas Smith, Benjamin Hood and Sarah Hood his wife, and Joseph F. Shipley and Mary Ann Shipley, his wife, all the legal heirs and personall [sic] representatives of Nimrod Harrison, late of Carroll County, deceased...."

"STRICKEN WHILE AT WORK
Erbin Harrison, Mt. Airy, Dies While Picking Up Stones.Stricken suddenly with a heart attack while working on the property of Charles Webster, Mt. Airy, on Wednesday, Erbin Harrison, 54 years of age, near Mt. Airy, died in a few minutes. He had recently been employed by the State Roads Commission and as he stopped to pick up some stones on the Webster property, soon after eating his lunch, he fell forward and expired while fellow workmen attempted to revive him. Death was due to natural causes and Magistrate C.M. Murray decided an inquest unnecessary. The deceased was the son of the late George A. and Sarah Jane Gosnell Harrison and besides his wife is survived by four daughter's, Mrs. Arthur Hooper, and Jane Harrison, Baltimore; Mrs. William Merson, Landsdowne; Mrs. Ray Grimes, Mt. Airy and two sons, Bertram and Sterling at home. One sister, Mrs. O.B. Buckingham, Mt. Airy; and a half brother, Tyson C. Harrison, Finksburg also survive. Funeral Services will be held at Mt. Olive M.E. Church at 2 o'clock this afternoon conducted by Rev. Carl Knox. The pallbearers will be members of the Jr. O. U. A. M. with which he was affiliated."
