She is buried in Harrison Cemetery, in Climax Township, Kalamazoo County, Michigan. Hettie married (15.9.3) Stephen "Steve" Soule, he was born on 11 June 1837, in Climax Township, Kalamazoo County, Michigan, and died on 20 September 1910, in Climax Township, Kalamazoo County, Michigan, and is also buried in Harrison Cemetery. Stephen was the son of Aaron David Soule I and (15.9) Elizabeth Roxena "Betsey" Harrison. Hannah was Stephen's aunt (his mother, Betsey's eldest sister). Hettie was reared by her grandmother and assisted her in the tailoring/seamstress business. Stephen, Hettie and family made a quick settlement in Harrisonville, Iowa and Gordon, Nebraska, and returned to Michigan. This family was extremely close to Alex I family. Hettie was reared by this Alex's family off and on. Their children were:
