My Ledbetter Family history begins in So. Illinois and migrates from Southern Illinois into Southern Missouri.
The earliest proof of record I have is (1)James, (2) John, (3) Robert Henry, (4) Robert Luke, (5) William Patrick, (6) ME.
Here I will show; the Family Bibles of, John and Robert Henry, along with other documents which prove their relationship. At this time the only proof of James being the father of John, is a statement made by; Matthew (Tobe), the bother of Robert Henry in a court room during the "Trial of Logan Belt."
I will also, give you photos of the headstones of Robert Henry, his first and second wives and his first two children with his first wife, Manervia.
Also, you will find documents for Robert Henry, during his Civil War service.
Further along, will be what I have gathered of my grandfather Robert Luke and my father William Patrick.
