This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Mary Hudson Henry Hass Hudson Henry H. Hudson, of Newburg, died Friday January 15, 1988, at Phelps County Regional MEdical Center. He was 87. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today at Null and Son Funeral Home chapel with the Reverend Lee Roy Sadler officiating. Burial will be in the Roach Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Lola Pauline. of the home; three daughters, Naomi Norman, of Cahokia, Illinois, Della V. Clark, of Newburg, MO. Evelyn Williams of DeWitt Arkansas; four sons, William E. of Newburg, James Eulas, of East Carondolet, Illinois, Cletus Henry, of Newburg and Bobby Wayne, of Victorville, California; 24 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. Mr. Hudson was a member of the California Music Association and was known to his friends in the country music world as Uncle Henry Hudson. Originally from Newburg, Mr. Hudson lived 20 years in Ontario, Calif. before returning to Newburg in 1985. Note:Mary Hudson this is the way the obituary was printed.
