The purpose of this website is to promote use of the Mahon Surname Mail List and genealogy research into the Mahon family lines for both serious and casual researchers.

The Mahon Mail List was established for the discussion and sharing of genealogical information between individuals researching the Mahon surname and related surnames (i.e Mahan, McMahan, McMahon) anywhere and anytime. The mailing list and this website are hosted courteousy of Rootsweb.

In the future we hope to enhance these pages by adding links to pages of list members that are willing to share their expertise and resources they have found helpful in their research.
