1900- Lived in Carlton, Orleans County, NY cannot read what kind of job he had. Census states he, Sarah, and 5 oldest children immigrated from Canada in 1889.
1910- Lived in Parma, Monroe County, NY where he worked as a farmer. Census states he and his family immigrated in 1888. Gordon and Maud still lived at home.
1920- Worked as a laborer in a dry house (1920 Greece TWP, Monroe, NY census Series: T625 Roll: 1119 Page: 85)
Marriage Notes:
Sometime between 1900 and 1910 Sarah and Elmer moved from Carlton, Orleans County, New York, United States to Parma, Monroe County, New York, United States. The only children still living with them in 1910 were Gordon and Maud. In 1910 Elmer was a farmer.
Both Sarah and Elmer's parents were from England. Sarah and Elmer emigrated from Canada to the US in 1888.
According to the 1920 census, Elmer and Sarah owned a home in Greece free and clear, where Elmer worked as a laborer in a dry house.
