William Granville Mitchell

was the son of John Granville Mitchell, and grandson of Coleman Mitchell of Henry County Virginia. William Granville was born in Virginia and married Cora Lee Weatherford on December 31, 1878, in Johnson County Texas. They moved from Johnson County to Jack County Texas and then into Indian Territory, present day Carter County, Oklahoma. They had the following children:
