John Marshall

was born about 1705 and died July 1, 1785. His will was proved on the oaths of John Arnold, Elisha Arnold as securites and his executor Samuel Marshall. Will was entered into probate November 1785. Will names the following children:

1. Samuel Marshall, d. 1809 Henry Co VA, married Cassandra Alfriend
2. James Marshall, d 1818 Anson Co, NC, married Ann Harrison
3. Benjamin Marshall, d 1818 Lincoln Co, TN, married Kesiah Brown
4. Judith Ann Marshall married Robert Nance
5. Lucy Marshall, d 1821 Brunswick Co VA married George Carter & George Malone
6. John Marshall
