Dennis Marshall

was born 1768 and died 1843 in Henry County Virginia. He was the son of Samuel Marshall and Cassandra Alfriend. The oldest school for higher learning in the county was conducted by Dennis Marshall. He was highly educated and spent some 40 years teaching. His will is filed in Henry County and was proved in court 11 December 1843. The following children are mentioned:
