March 20, 1751.

 

Notes for NICOLAS WISSE:

Under the entries for WISSE in the POINTE COUPEE part of Baton Rouge Records, Vol. 1, p. 224, there is one entry for the burial of "Anne Catherine, widow of Nicolas Christina".  It is possible that Nicolas WISSE remarried to a woman named Anne Catherine.  He died in 1760, and the burial of Anne Catherine occurs in 1766.

Notes for MARGUERITE DUCRET:

Names of Marguerite's parents are from BR Records, Vol. 3, BERGERON p. 83, baptismal records for children of Jean-Baptiste BERGERON and Marguerite DUCRE.

 

This is likely the same as Marguerite Augustine, born Jan 19, 1770 and baptized at St. Francis.  See BR-2, DUCRET p. 251.  Marguerite was identified as "Marguerite of PC" when she was married in 1802.  Another Marguerite was born in 1782 in St. Martinville, old enough to be married in 1802.
