I am still a beginner to genealogy. I have spent many wonderful hours at this hobby of mine and hope to spend many more.
My grandparents are as follows:
Macdonnell - born in Manitoba, Canada but his brother and sisters were all born in Islington, Middlesex, England.
Elson - born in Ontario, Canada. Her parents married in Godalming, Surrey.
O'keefe - born in the East Indes. Apparently had family in Ireland; but he ran away and never spoke about them.
McColl - born in Perth, Scotland and came to Canada when she was 3.
These are the base of my family tree. How far can I go remains to be seen.
My husbands grandparents are:
Moon - born in Lancashire, England
Osmun - born in Ontario, Canada
Hodgins - born in Ontario, Canada. Possible UEL.
Morrice - born in Ontario, Canada
