Connie and sons Michael and Alex' on 12 January 1870.9 She appeared on the census of 2 April 1871 at 20 Warwick Road, Paddington, London England, as Head, age 60, widowed, 'Retired Merchant', birthplace Portsmoruth, Hampshire.10 She died on 22 January 1875 at 20 Warwick Road, Maida Hill, London England; and the following announcement was published:
'Death 22.1.1875 at her residence 20 Warwick Road, Maida Hill, relict of the late Moss J. Jacob of Falmouth, aged 63 years. Beloved and respected by all who knew her'.11,12
