County Derry, Ireland
Martha McNIECE or McALEECE (my ggm) (dob 18 June
1863 - dod - possibly 26 November 1960) came to USA
14 June 1880 from Ballymaguigan, Magherafelt, County
Derry, Ireland.
Martha married James HAW (1st husband) in New
York, NY;
Children of this marriage were: Lindsay,
James, Martha, Elizabeth (Lillie), Margaret, Johnnie
(cause of death was a fall from a window), (another)
Johnnie (cause of death Croup).
Martha then married William GRAHAM (2nd
husband) believed to have been born in County Tyrone,
Ireland. Martha and William resided in New York
City, New York, USA.

William had a grandson, William GRAHAM, who became a famous prizefighter. The GRAHAM family is believed to reside somewhere on Long Island, New York. No other information as yet.

Martha and James HAW's daughter, Margaret HAW (my gm) (dob 30 August 1892 New York, NY - dod 26 August 1950 New York, NY), married George Alfred McCONNELL (my gf)(dob: 18 June 1890 - dod: 5 January 1977). Date of their marriage is unknown to me.
Children of this marriage were: William (married Mildred (?) - 1 child - living; Edna (married Albert Bauer) - 2 children, Albert, deceased, 1 child - living; Martha (married Charles Hilgendorf) - 3 children - living, and Margaret (married Charles E. Zawasky) 1 child - living.

Margaret McCONNELL & children - 1918

There is still one child of the marriage whose name is not mentioned here because he is still amongst the living ~ and for this I am truly grateful. He remains married to his one and only bride who is also still amongst the living ~ another blessing for which I am truly grateful. Their children are also still living.
George Alfred McCONNELL (my gf) was born in Glaslough, County Fermanagh. He had 1 sister (first name unknown) who moved to California, USA. George's mother was Ellen HEARST born 9 Aug 1859 who died in 1890. Ellen married Robert McCONNELL (a laborer who died in 1906) on 2 July 1883, Parish Straghan. They lived in Glaslough (Green Lakes). Pastor of church in Glaslough was Rev. A.M.B. Mills.
There is also something about records being kept by the Manor House - Castle Lesley.
Robert's father was James McCONNELL (also a laborer). Ellen's father was George HEARST (a farmer) buried in Townland of Billis. (I have a date connected with George HEARST of 5 April 1883 and believe it to be his date of death.)

LOL!!!
My fascination with the dead is purely hereditary!
