This picture was the last picture taken of all the siblings together until the funeral of Ark Stewart. Ark and Amanda, their 9 youngest children left for California a few months after this picture was taken during the Dust Bowl days ca 1937.
(My Grandfather had 9/10 children with his first wife (the "first bunch"),
this is his "second bunch")

My Family Roots
When I was a child my mother would love to go visit her family in
several states. As we visited these folks, my mother would inform
me that the children were my cousins... As we visited these 10 to
12 families, I began to wonder just how many "Cousins" I had,
and I began to make a list. To which I then started adding ages,
etc... Thus the beginning of my genealogy hunt........
I have just finished finding all my cousins.
It has only taken me 40 yrs.
There are 22 cousins in the first bunch
and 35 cousins in the second bunch.
I have made a list for anyone who wants a copy.
