  84. Obituary. The Dunlap Reporter, Thursday Nov. 22, 1894 Mrs, Anne E Lyman was born in South Manchester, Connecticut., April 2, 1804, died in Dunlap Iowa. Friday evening, Nov. 16, 1894 and was therefore 90 years, 7 m0nths old. She was united in marriage t o Chester lyman Feb. 9, 1826. To them were born ten children, 6 boys and 4 girls none of whom survive her, the last one a son Henry W having departed this life at his home in Port Washington, WI. o n the morning og the same day of her death. She often remarked that she belived she would survive all of her chileren. A telegram was recieved Friday afternoon conveying the sad news of the death o f her son and after hearing it read she fell into a state of unconciousness and passed peacefully over the river. For some time she had lived with her daughter in law Mrs. Matilda Lyman in whose hom e she died. The last sad riites occured Sunday at 2 p.m. form the M E church. Rev Dr. A T Jeffrey officiating. Intermen was made in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The Dunlap Reporter, Thursday Nov. 22, 1894 p. 1.
