|"Boyers & Roberts" -
Alice (Tate) Boyer, her husband, Charles Boyer, L. W. (Bob) Roberts & Louin Roberts. The occasion was a Christmastime visit to south Texas (Beeville). The next day, A stop at my Aunt & Uncle (Alice & Charles), Christmas Dinner with Gerald Boyer and his wife Joleene, with all the other "Boyers" there. Then off to Kingsville to spend a couple of nights at my Aunt Rosie's house and a meal for all at Kings Inn, topped off the visit. All this occured at Christmas 1982.

Another Christmas visit. This year, my cousin Pat had just snagged a husband! (Earlier in the year, we had taken up a collection for a ladder.)

|The Boyer Brothers -
Ballard Boyer and his brother, James Monroe "Bud" boyer. Ballard Boyer was the youngest of 12 Children (four of whom, Dottie and Lettie died at birth, and M. Effie Boyer died in infancy - two years of age). Note: Later, another Sister was born into the family and was also named M. Effie, who very sadly also died at birth.
The Boyer Brothers, pictured here are 19 years apart in age. James Monroe was the second born child and Ballard was the last born.
