This cemetery is located on private property owned by the

 John H. Johnston family at Levesque

and is the site of the Captain Isaac N. Deadrick house.

 

Inventoried in 1961 by Thomas Baker and in 1981 by

A list of the roll of Company A of the 29th Arkansas Confederate Cavalry which was organized at the old Methodist Camp ground near Vanndale in 1863 is a valued possession of Mrs. T. D. Hare.

 

Captain I. N. Deadrick was Commander William Grooms was first Lieutenant, John Cross was second Lieutenant. and W. P. Wilkins was third Lieutenant. W.P Brown was orderly Sergeant, John M.  Vann was second Sergeant and Sam Ware was Commissary Sergeant.
