Alex Cadion Gravesite

Haefer ~ Crittenden County ~ Arkansas

(Fogleman Township)

This lone gravesite is located on US Highway 42, just off the side of the highway. Traveling north from Earle on Highway 149, turn east on Highway 42 towards Turrell. Approximately 1 mile, between Highway 149 and Lunsford Road, the gravesite is located on a mound, on the right side of the highway. The grave is marked with a modern-day stone.

Alex Cadion - born 1850 - died 1880

The 1880 Census of Crittenden County shows that his family was living in Fogleman Township and that Alexander Cadion (Caddien) was born in Canada. both his parents were born in France. He was a farmer, with his date of birth shown to be about 1841. In 1880, he had a wife, three daughters and one son.

A Lunsford family was living near the household of the

Alexander Cadion family.
