Origins and Migrations of the
Fauley/Fawley Family:
This family immigrated from Germany at some point before 1720, however
the name of the immigrant ancestor is unknown, as is the date of his
immigration, or where he originated. The family moved from
Pennsylvania to Loudoun Co., Virgina, where many members of this family
remain. The name has been spelled a variety of ways including Fawley,
Fauley and Fowley. During the early 1800's many families from
Loudoun County migrated to central and eastern Ohio, especially Guernsey
and Muskingum Counties, including my own. |
