Elizabeth Josephine "Betty" (Siders) Edinger and her oldest sibling Effie Anna "Annie" (Siders) Caplinger. Annie was the second child born to Joseph Albert "GrandDad" & his 1st wife Mary Etta (Maxwell) Siders (died after complications of child birth to twin daughters on May 20, 1910) Annie was born June 23, 1902 Highland County,Ohio and died on September 20, 2001 at home in Clinton County, Sabina, Ohio. Annie married Gilbert Caplinger November 30 1922 in Highland County,Ohio, they had two daughters, Mary Ellen and Velma Louise. Gilbert passed away in 1979 , Clinton County, Ohio 22 years before Annie's passing. Annie lived in her home in Clinton County,Sabina, Ohio even to her death on September 20, 2001, at the age of 99 years old, she cooked and cleaned and still did some yard work
Elizabeth Josephine "Betty" (Siders) Edinger is the youngest child of Joseph Albert "GrandDad" & Lillie Lee (Spurgeon) Siders. Betty married Harold A. Edinger and raised three daughters.
This picture was taken during the First Siders Family Reunion in 54 years. Was held on Sunday July 8, 2001 in Highland County, Hillsboro, Ohio, at Hi Tech Building, 1575 North High Street, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133. Betty and her first cousin Jaunita (Garen) Smart put the first Siders Family Reunion together since 1948, which was cordinated by Joseph Albert "GrandDad" Siders. Annie was the oldest Siders at the reunion, and sadly and will be missed Annie passed away 1 month and 11 days later after the reunion.
