Last week the Siders, Maxwell and Caplinger families lost, Their oldest and most beloved member. Effie Anna {Annie} age 99, of Saina died unexpectely on Thursday September 20, 2001.
Annie attended the Siders Reunion July 8, 2001 and commented, "I NEVER HAD SO MANY HUGS IN MY LIFE". Annie was born on June 23rd 1902 in Highland County, Hillsboro, Ohio. To Joseph Albert & Mary Etta "Maxwell" Siders
On November 30, 1922, Annie married Gilbert Earl Caplinger. Annie was prececded in death by her husband Gilbert Earl, One daughter Velma Louise Caplinger Walters, her parents Joseph Albert and Mary Etta Maxwell Sidwers, four sisters Bessie Gladys, twin sister and Chloe Evelyn Siders, two Brothers Virgil Foust , Geroge Rebert Siders, six half Brothers John Herschel, Charles Albert, Kermit Glen, Stanley Pershing and Robert Eugene Siders
Annie is survived by daughter Mary Evelyn {Owen} Smith Three grandchildren, Six Great grandchildren and one sister Elizabeth Josephine {Betty Edinger} Many Many Friends and relatives, She will surley be missed. This picture was taken on Annie's 99th birthday on June 23rd, 2001. Efiie Anna never liked her 1st name that is why she went by Annie.
